My recent stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel was a delightful mix of highs and lows. the location was absolutely perfect with a quick walk to the beach and surrounded by vibrant shops and restaurants. the staff, especially Michael and Kristina, along with Zizi Yi, our daily cleaner, were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. the hotel itself boasts a beautiful decor, with a terrace of modern art showcasing local artists and offering a unique outdoor gallery experience. However, there were some setbacks to note. We initially had a room mix-up, expecting a Waikiki view but landing a room overlooking a wall and a commercial extractor fan. After expressing our concerns, the manager did promptly move us to a quieter room with a better view. the value for the room we received felt lacking, especially for the price we paid, and the absence of a restaurant for breakfast was a disappointment. Overall, our 12-night stay was enjoyable, thanks to the fantastic staff, convenient amenities like laundry and a cafe on-site, and the relaxing spa pool. the hotel's proximity to the beach and local attractions made it a great choice for families and those looking to explore Waikiki.
